The Electoral commission of GIMPA SRC brings to the attention of all students and stakeholders the time table for the 2019 GIMPA SRC elections.

Below is the full list of the time table:

• Opening of Nominations – 26th April, 2019

• Closing of Nominations – 29th April, 2019

• Deadline for Filing of Nominations – 29th April, 2019.

• Screening and Vetting of Aspirants / Balloting – 30th April, 2019

• Display of Vetting Results – 30th April, 2019

• Campaign – Starts after vetting results have been published and ends midnight before elections.

• Manifesto Reading / Presidential Debate – 2nd May, 2019

• Election Day – 6th May, 2019

• Declaration of Provisional Results – 6th May, 2019

• Declaration of Final Results – 9th May, 2019

Also, the Commission wish to state that per Article 47 of the SRC’s constitution, the rules and regulations for the conduct of the elections have been approved by The General Assembly.

Candidates can locate the Electoral Commission office at SRC Radio Room from Friday, 26th April, 2019 – Monday 29th April, 2019 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
