In particular regard to the 2018/19 GIMPA SRC elections, following the resignation of the Electoral commissioner, re-appointment and swearing in of the a new Electoral Commissioner at the General Assembly; aspirants and students are to note the following

The electoral process which was started shall continue as follows:

• Opening of Nominations  

11th May, 2019

• Closing of Nominations

13th May, 2019

• Deadline for Filing of Nominations

13th May 2019.

• Aptitude Test

13th May, 2019 

TIME: 1:00 p.m

• Screening and Vetting of Aspirants

13th May, 2019

TIME: 8:20 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

• Publishing of Vetting Results

14th May, 2019

• Election Day

16th May, 2019

• Provisional Results

16th May, 2019

• Declaration of Final Results

18th May, 2019

Also, the Commission wish to state that per Article 47 of the SRC’s constitution, The amended Rules and Regulations for the conduct of the SRC Elections 2019 have been approved by The General Assembly.
