OFFICE OF THE WOMEN’S COMMISSIONER-GIMPA

The attention of the office of the women’s commissioner has been drawn to a bulk message circulating, making allegations against the current women’s commissioner, Ms Matilda Hammond, for extorting money from students..

We wish to state that we do not know of anybody or group by name Gimpa Watch Dog, and whether it is the appropriate body to bring out such an information.

It is also surprising that this is the first time of hearing about such a body and interesting to note how they got access to the student’s database.

However, if  their allegations are true, we expect them to come out with concrete evidence as we find the allegations offensive and insulting to the office of the commissioner.

The Wocom is still focused on achieving its ambition of bringing women together on campus and working towards their wellbeing..
