Preliminary report into a fatal accident involving Tesla Model 3 in the US has found Autopilot had been engaged 10 seconds before the crash.

The Tesla was traveling above the speed limit when it crashed into a truck towing in March 2019

The roof of the car was sheared off the in accident and the driver was killed

According to the report the driver did not appear to have his hands on the wheel and neither he nor the Autopilot to any evasive action
