Ruth Yayra Agbeehia is a driven and accomplished professional with a passion for politics and leadership. She has been working as a Women’s Organizer Aspirant for Afadzato South District since 2017 and as a Captain for Greater Accra Loyal Ladies, where she oversees the mobilization of over 40 regional platforms, recruiting new members, planning and organizing programs, scouting and informing members of job and training opportunities available.
Additionally, Ruth also served as a Commander and Leader for NPP Loyal Ladies, where she was responsible for mobilizing members on GA4 platform for programs, recruiting new members, sensitizing them on government programs and activities, and collecting personal data and CV information on all members. She has also been instrumental in mobilizing the electorate for registration exercise.
Ruth has organized various programs such as the Greater Accra Regional conference, 4th Anniversary Celebration, Walk4More (Healthwalk), Health Screening and Clean up (Tema), and 3rd Anniversary Celebration. She also served as a Correspondent for NPP TV at the Manifesto Launch.
Ruth pursues a BSc in Public Administration from GIMPA, has a Leadership Training in Campaign, an HND in Accounting from Accra Polytechnic, and a Certification in Computer Systems from IPMC, Accra. She has gained extensive experience in various roles, including Cashier, Accounts Unit at Eurotour Ghana Limited, Branch Head for Operations, Accounts & Cashiering at PayFlex Microfinance Company Limited, Sales Executive at Computer Warehouse Limited, and Administrator/Sales Executive at Parts Plus Ghana Limited/Latchview Ventures.
In addition to her work, Ruth enjoys reading, dancing, traveling, listening to music, and is a passionate advocate for women’s rights and empowerment. She is a hardworking and dedicated individual who is committed to achieving her goals and making a positive impact in her community.
