i. Extension of Registration for First Semester of 2020/2021 Academic Year

In view of the technical challenges with the online registration portal that affected student registration for about four days, Management has taken into account the effect of the system downtime on the on-going semester registration and extended the registration period for an additional two weeks.

This extension is intended to take care of the effect of the system downtime experienced and to provide a contingency grace period for any technical or financial challenge.

Registration for the first semester of the 2020/2021 Academic year has therefore been extended to 28 ^th February 2021.

All students are entreated to pay their fees and take advantage of this extended registration period to register for the semester. The registration period SHALL NOT be extended after this new deadline. Students who do not register for the semester would not have access to the online learning portal or in-person class and would have to defer the academic year.

ii.       End-of-First Semester Examination for 2020/2021 Academic Year

Management wishes to bring to the attention of all students the decision of the Academic Board that, despite the fact that teaching for the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year is predominantly online with a relatively small number of in-person graduate program classes, the end-of-first semester examination for the 2020/2021 academic year for ALL PROGRAMMES will be IN-PERSON.

The Examination period has been extended to cover a period of 4 weeks instead of the normal 2 weeks to ensure that all Covid-19 protocols, in particular social distancing, are complied with.
