Professor Martin Morgan Tuuli – Deputy Rector


Professor Tuuli brings a wealth of experience to the position of Deputy Rector.

Prior to this, he was Dean and Professor of Construction Business and Project Management at the GIMPA Business School. His strategic leadership of the GIMPA Business School led to growth in staff and faculty profile, growth in programmes such the Doctor of Management programme and the eminent commencement of our one-year Masters programmes in 7 areas.

Professor Tuuli is a native of Nandom in the Upper West Region and holds a BSc (First Class Honours) in Building Technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, and a PhD in Construction Project Management from the University of Hong Kong. He is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.

Professor Tuuli has leadership experience as a consultant, project management professional, and a researcher. He has previously worked as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Loughborough University, UK, Assistant Professor at the University of Westminster, UK, Research Assistant at the University of Hong Kong, Quantity Surveyor at Taysec Construction Ltd, Ghana, and Research and Teaching Assistant at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.

As a Researcher, Professor Tuuli has managed significant research grants, and is well published and cited for his publications in leading journals in his field. Professor Tuuli is the recipient of 11 national and international awards, including fellowships, outstanding research student awards from the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Institution of Surveyors, the Ghana Institution of Surveyors and best research paper awards from Emerald, Vinci and ACT Travelwise.
