SUBJ: SRC ELECTIONS
Dear Student,
My attention has been drawn to a write up being circulated on social media said to be instructing the SRC not to hold elections and by extension discouraging students not to participate in todays election.
I wish to emphatically state in accordance with the SRC constitution the elections will be held as planned today May 16th 2019.
The SRC has established procedures that cannot be defiled by an individuals ignorance and careless abuse of the directives of the General Assembly directives.
I urge all students to come out and vote. The electoral commission is on grounds currently setting up and elections are starting by 8:30am.
