The GIMPA Mooting Society sponsored Mr Mowbray Jones-Nelsonand Ms Farodoye Esther to represent the Faculty in the aforementioned competition which was organised by Equality Now in collaboration with Solidarity for Women’s Rights and The Catholic University of Eastern Africa. At the closing and award ceremony on May 21, 2021, our team won the Overall Best Team award of the competition while being adjudged the 1^st Runner-Up in the Overall Best Memorial category. Also, Mr Mowbray Jones-Nelson, who was our lead counsel brought home the Overall Best Oralist award.
