Asana Issaka – Gender Commissioner


Asana Issaka is pursuing a Master’s programme in International Relations and Diplomacy. She earned a first degree in Sociology and Political Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where she was the Vice-President of the Sociology Students Association from 2019 – 2020.

Asana is a contract staff with the Ghana Audit Service in addition to being a part-time worker with Divaloper — a community that trains and equips young people especially girls in programming, digital skills and Entrepreneurship as Content Creator. In partisan politics, Asana is the current NDC
Deputy Communications Officer for the Weija-Gbawe Constituency in the Greater Accra region.
